HBC REASSEMBLY PLAN (NEW INFORMATION)
We have finally and prayerfully determined that we will be resuming assembly this coming  Wednesday, May 6, 2020. LIVESTREAM IS BEING DISCONTINUED BEGINNING ON THIS DAY. We have carefully set up our auditorium in such a way that we are in compliance with our Governor's guidelines for distancing in a public assembly/meeting. We have adopted the relaxed DIRECTED HEALTH MEASURES (DHM) which are...
  • Distancing of approximately 6 feet in our seating. NOTE: Seating will be assigned and marked in order that we can strategically place everyone as to protect distancing.
  • Elimination of handshaking as part of the service. NOTE: Personal handshaking is left up to each individual and will not be policed by the church staff.
  • Elimination of the passing of offering plates publicly. NOTE: Offering plates will be made available on the platform at the front of the auditorium for giving purposes.
  • Elimination of the quarterly Lord's Table observance. NOTE: Because our practice of the Lord's Table is observed through the passing of the elements amongst the congregation, we will abstain from it's observance for the time being.
Due to having to spread out the set up of our auditorium for distancing, it was necessary to remove our cafeteria area. Therefore, we will be downsizing our Sunday meetings to one service at 10 AM (NO MEAL AND NO AFTERNOON SERVICE). We will reevaluate this assembly plan at the end of May to determine if we will be returning to a normal meeting structure going forward. Let us all plan to be reunited together in one location at our God appointed assembly at 310 Yellowstone Avenue this Wednesday, May 6!
NOTE: We will also be having weekly Wednesday night services
once again as well. Please be mindful of this detail.

POINTS OF INTEREST IN THE NEWS...

"
Some form of social distancing will probably remain in place through the summer, Deborah    Birx, the White House’s coronavirus task force coordinator, said Sunday — the same day   several governors expressed optimism about the course of the virus and outlined their               plans for a piecemeal reopening of their economies."

"
After weeks of being told to simply stay home to halt the spread of the virus, individuals and business owners are now facing more complex decisions about how to proceed..."
