BEING UNSHAKABLE by Pastor Gruber
1 Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
Sometimes in ministry there are roadblocks that seem impossible to get around and hurdles too high to get over. I am encouraged that God is responsible for "doing it." Many times it comes down to whether or not I am willing to trust the Lord (Proverbs 3:5, 6) fully and eliminate human reasoning from the process. Our God sometimes waits for us to turn to him and cry "Abba Father " (Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:6).
Our God is a capable God. He is worthy of our trust. We should not be shaken or walk in fear. We must take refuge in our God rather than crumbling under the pressures and challenges.
Psalms 62:2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Psalms 94:22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
My cry today is ...help thou mine unbelief. Mark 9:24
